She’s Back: Joyce Omondi Returns to Citizen Tv’s Gospel Sunday Show
Exit a tearful Kambua, enter Joyce Omondi who is making a grand comeback to Citizen TV’s Gospel Sunday programme.
Lovely Kambua bid goodbye to her fans a few weeks ago, tearfully, to pursue other interests
“We move from seasons to seasons and today, I would like to take a bow and I want to hung my boots, thank you for allowing me to come into your homes, and to minister, it has been a beautiful journey,” Kambua said.
Now the lovely Omondi will be taking her place after she left the programme eight years ago for greener pastures and she was a host at the now-defunct Switch TV.
An award-winning gospel singer A teaser by Citizen TV showed Omondi walk gracefully into the Royal Media Services building, point to the Gospel Sunday signage then sit to ‘watch’ the programme. It is expected that she will resume hosting the ‘Rauka’ show this Sunday, February 6, 2022.
Apart from being a TV host, Omondi also wears the hats of award-winning Gospel singer, founder of EPIC Women and event host.
Emphatic about new seasons
As a musician, Omondi boasts the Conquerer album whose debut single won the Groove Awards ‘Video of the Year’ in 2013 and the second album, Spirit Vs Soul (2017) which won ‘Album of the Year’ at Maranatha Awards.
Omondi is also a double major in Economics and Integrated International Studies from Knox College in Illinois.
In her recent posts on Instagram, Omondi has been quite emphatic about a new season and it seems she is upbeat to start a new season.
In a previous report by TUKO.co.ke, Omondi revealed that she spent the best part of 2021 a sad woman and the new development is definitely something to smile about for her.
Taking to her official Facebook page, Joyce revealed that her 2021 was filled with tears and brokenness.
Omondi, however, took her time to thank God for seeing her through the year and vowed to put her best foot forward in 2022.
