Chairo debuts her gospel album on SABC 1
Takalani Chairo enjoyed an exclusive premiere of her debut album concert airing on SABC 1 on a Christmas Eve gospel music special with Chairo.
This came after the successful release of her debut album single Ahuna, which was well-received, exceeding 10 000 views on YouTube in less than a week.
The album, titled The Secret Place, was recorded live in Johannesburg in December 2020 and was officially broadcast as an exclusive 96-minute music special.
The 16-track album carries on the momentum she felt when she started recording. The melodies and language used are what make it stand out and pull at the heartstrings of gospel lovers. Chairo graced SABC 1 viewers with an exclusive debut on Christmas Eve at 21:00. She has also performed in several gospel events in and around Midrand and Thembisa.
“While making this album, I experienced the grace of God, and I hope to share that with the world. The album carries out a global message that connects with anyone in a different situation,” said Chairo.
“My hopes were that viewers be blessed through my ministry on the eve of the birth of Christ Jesus,” she added.
Viewers can expect special features from international award-winning gospel musician Takesure Zama Ncube, Pastor Mma, and the Rathando Sisters to name a few.
The exclusive debut of Chairo’s solo album will leave viewers feeling blessed.
“The album list has 16 songs with songs like Greatest, God Of The Breakthrough, and Everlasting God. “I always get most of my bookings in Thembisa, so I can confidently confirm that my music blesses them,” said Chairo.
Chairo was well known after the release of her debut single titled P.U.S.H (Pray Until Something Happens) on August 17, 2018. The song hit the number one spot on Hot Tracks, iTunes and Google Play on the day of release and was still number one for almost three weeks.
